As a Raider fan for the past 35 years I was not at all happy the Donkeys won.............I was however, thrilled that sCam Newton lost. BTW, I heard Jim Nantz say multiple times that Gary Kubiak was the first head coach to win a Super Bowl with a team he played for...................apparently he has never heard of Tom Flores or Mike Ditka.

He may not have been enjoying it quite as much as Ten Ginn (seriously, what is he doing ), but he seems to be in the moment, being respectful enough. I don't care if his hand is on his heart or not. I didn't fight* in the military so that others have to pay respect the same way I do. That kind of defeats the purpose of freedom.

*
[Show spoiler]Technically, most of us didn't fight. We leave that to the Marines and the drones.
Hah, video already shut down by the NFL. They're obsessive about scrubbing Youtube of any footage of anything.

Does this guy have anyone with any amount of common sense in his ear?
Quote makes sense. This "good loser/bad loser" stuff is nonsense. Losing is losing, there is no difference. Losers are going to rip him and call him childish names like "Scam Newton" regardless of what he says so he may as well speak his mind. I'm glad he's not faking an apology and groveling at the feet of the media as most players would do.

I heard that multiple times. Never understood why they kept ignoring Flores. I had forgotten about Ditka.

Yea, the quote makes sense.

He's saying if you handle losing with class that you're a loser. That's pathetic. Only something Cam would say.

He just keeps digging himself into a bigger hole... He could've come back and said something like: "Look, I was down after the toughest loss of my life and didn't handle myself well..."

Problem solved. But no... Cam is an idiot and can't do these things. Pure arrogance. Total denial. 100% certain this guy will never win a Super Bowl until he changes this baby attitude.

He'd be a train wreck on most teams. Panthers are one and done next year unless Cam decides to sack up and change his ways. But my guess is he's just going to have to learn it the hard way... when it's too late.

Marshawn Lynch is a hall of famer, he had a similar career to Terrell Davis whom everyone says will be a hall of famer eventually so I believe Lynch will get in. He also had better stats than TD.

He was my favorite RB the past few seasons.

Show me a sore loser and I'll show you a loser. Look in the mirror, Cam.

Thinking he means played/coached IN the Super Bowl with the same team. Probably what he meant just worded it poorly.

Jeez, some of you guys sound like a bunch of old men with all of this Cam talk. He's a younger guy in a newer generation of players. He's a show off, we get it. He's a sore loser, we get it. But man, to continue to drill something in the ground when it's clear he's one of those guys that just (currently) doesn't "get it" is kinda lame and ultimately futile so you might as well just save your breath. Take a look at all of the millennials around you cuz there's a million more just like him and they're all a buncha jackwagons. You can expect a lot more of these types of guys to permeate the NFL, so don't be surprised when it happens. Believe me, I'm not remotely saying I'm happy about it, but there isn't a thing that you or I can do to stop it.

This same conversation was had when it was Namath vs Unitas. Old school player who was highly respected and was classy vs the new upcoming hot shot who was nothing at all like Unitas. Same story different players.

that's exactly what he meant.

Kubiak both played in the Super Bowl as a Bronco and coached in the Super Bowl as a Bronco.

and he won both times.

a lot alike actually, ur right. Wasn't Unitas the backup tho? Earl Morral right? Either way, Manning was looked at as the new Unitas a few years ago when he broke some Colts record.

Cam's "explanation" for not diving on the football was a total absurdity.

Except in this case Cam actually insulted a whole bunch of his own teammates, because they apparently had too much class while losing.

Cam is young, I get it. But he needs to get over the deflection stage of his life. Sometimes it really is on you Cam.
