I'll have to watch that video a few more times. The best I can get is 33.51. Of his 4 barrel rolls: the first I can do about 50% of the time, the 2nd and 3rd I've yet to be able to do, and the 4th I can do 99% of the time.

I gave up after about 26 laps, so I took a piece of tape and taped down the X button, so I can go do something else, but still earn a trophy for the 99 laps.

Well, now I can land the first barrel roll 100% of the time...I didn't realize you can pull back on the left analog stick, to lift your nose up a bit.

Still can't get the 2nd one at all, the 3rd one I can get once every 30 tries or so, and the final one is easy.

I got the 99 laps trophy!

I think I ended up playing about 75 of those, and the lowest time I could get was 33.10.

Still a ways to go to get to Zico.

well, i got a 31.92 and i know i missed at least 3 speed pads. i also missed the barrel roll when you go up on the 2nd level strip path. so if i have a PERFECT run, i know ill beat zico.

right now globally my time ties for 11th overall, but i don't know how up to date it is, since it is only showing 3 people right now that have faster times than zico.

oh, and also, i got my 99 laps trophy 100% LEGIT BABY! no tape was used here. i dont know if that makes me cooler than the rest of you tap users, or lamer

Definitely cooler.

I thought the Zico trophy would keep me from getting the platinum, but then I saw the trophy about winning every race of a 16 race tournament thing on Elite, or something like that. I won't be getting that one either.

I got my Flatland Flyer(barrel roll on Moa Therma) trophy yesterday, that one was pretty tough. I did it right after the last U-turn on the forward track. The track dips just a bit there and you can shoot over the side and then land back on the track after doing a barrel roll. Took me almost 40 laps

Alright, i dont know what kind of freak of nature you have to be to get the Zico trophie, but its impossible for me. I tried for 51 laps last night and my lowest time was 33.45!!!

That's still pretty high, you prolly need to add some barrel rolls in there somewhere. I haven't seen the video yet(work filter), but someone a few posts up has a link to a you-tube vid that is supposed to help.

yeah i watched the video. even his time with all the barrel rolls was 33. something(i assume he was just showing the barrel roll points). he didnt use the "2 boosts" trick so i guess he beat it before. Anyway, it looks like he had pilot assist off. and i'm just not that good of a driver w/o pilot assist

I tried yesteday for about 10 mins and I was able to get below 33. I had to turn pilot assist off to do that. You have to cut pretty close to the wall in some spots and the pilot assist can mess you up when you are trying to do that. Hopefully after I watch that vid I can get this trophy

Got my copy yesterday and I am just totally impressed with the visuals of the game. Plus, the game feels just like the original, but redone for the next generation consoles!

Lol IDK man, i tried it last night w/o pilot assist and i was slaming in to walls left and right

. whoever gets the trophie let me know.........so i can take my HDD out, send it to you and let you get the trophie for me!
