Agreed. I'm still pissed that Sagat is not on the initial roster. He's always been my guy.

Eventually, probably, but the first six DLC characters are Alex, Guile, Balrog, Juri, Ibuki and Uriel. They haven't announced the ones coming afterwards yet.

Excellent. I was wondering about Guile. I would much rather have Sagat in DLC #1 than Balrog. Just my preference.

I also hope Fei Long will eventually be added as well. I've always thought he was incredibly fun to play with.

Capcom just put out a fairly detailed layout of the schedule for the first round of DLC.

I don't know if you'll be able to see it very well, but I'll post their calendar with the tiny print. You can earn the DLC characters for free if you get enough in-game credits.

Same here, GCU and reward certificates dropped the game down to $69 after taxes.

The reviews are saying basically exactly what I expected after following the info and playing a number of the betas.

- Great graphics, fantastic gameplay

- great competitive play, whether local between two players or online

- strange and confusing omissions in single-player options. No arcade mode or vs. Cpu. Supposedly these options are coming, and soon, but why not just put them in launch mode? If you can already play the CPU in survival or in the individual character stories, is it really that difficult to put an arcade mode?

I'm still really looking forward to it, as the Betas were great, and it will be the game of choice when my brother comes over, but it looks like, for the first month at least, I'm going to be going online a lot more than I suspected I would.

I really want it but I refuse to buy it in it's incomplete state. Once all the content finally gets patched in I'll buy it. I know it's coming but it's just the principle of it. I don't feel that I should pay full price right now for content that's not there yet. Would it really have killed them to just wait and make this a summer release with all the content included? It makes them look like incompetent coders and it's actually effecting review scores, something apparently they're not concerned with.

Yeah, I'm still getting it, but I really don't know why they didn't just release it in a few months with a more complete feature-set patched in. From the glowing way the reviews describe the gameplay, it probably would have been receiving nothing but 9's and maybe even a few 10's if it had shipped with more content. I can understand not wanting to come out right next to Uncharted 4 or something, but there are a lot of other gaps to fill before or after then.

Sagat's Tiger Knee if I remember him saying as he kicked in SFIITurbo, is powerful and quick. Sad to hear he was left out of the default list.

Thanks for the info. No arcade or 1 player mode vs computer? That is strange but shows where their priorities went. 1 player mode is just as important as multiplayer IMO.

Why are studios screwing over people who prefer single player games? Like Star Wars and and this and every other good game that is made for just multiplayer. I don't like playing with sore losers everyone I've played with online crys and gets mad when they lose that's the reason why I haven't played online in 3 years. And I'm on the road a lot so online only games don't interest me cause not every hotel internet is good it's good enough to play Netflix and Hulu and other apps like that but online gaming Doesn't work. If I want to play a game with someone I'll do it old school and have the person in the same room.
