has anyone noticed that on amazon's current sale, some the covers that used to be the square type for that one best buy exclusive wave have apparently been changed to the parallelograms used in the original 4ff sets? i don't know if it's just the slips or the actual cover art, but—just thought it was weird (and is a bit annoying for us completionists, hahah). this looks like it's just for the batman, tmnt, and lethal weapon sets, or at least since they're the only ones in the sale.

i also wish they wouldn't release new triples/double anymore (re-releasing several sets at target and walmart, etc.) when there's a more complete 4ff set, like the tmnt and mortal kombat triples, or latest wave of double features that has several redundant pairings along with some new, more logical ones. save me some space on my shelf instead of four separate, single-disc, slipcover-less releases. if i want to see the original art, i can find it on here

Is there anything I should be concerned about with this release in regards to the individual releases?

Also, how can I tell if I have the correct remastered LW1 and LW2 in the 4 pack?
I don't have a BD player on my computer...

They have been known to take discs from unsold stock and repackage them into bundle sets at the factory. I've seen copies sold from Best Buy and Target that are the same.

I was thinking of getting the set that has Hugo, The Last Airbender, Inkheart and The Golden Compass. Do these movies have all the same special features as their individual blu ray's? I have the batman 4 movie collection and it looks like all the special features were included from the individual releases. I love special features and always buy blu ray's that include them.

I wondered the same thing when I got my TMNT 3 Pack a few years ago.

[Show spoiler]All of the pictures of the discs I've seen online have been pizzas, but mine are just silver with black text. I doubt they're bootleg because: 1. I bought the set new directly from Amazon 2. the disc came with a slip, not typically something bootleggers bother with 3. the discs still have the appropriate logos and warnings on them and 4. it was shrink wrapped (although I know any schmuck can get access to a shrink wrap machine). The discs play fine and all, but could this be a factory error of some type? Or is New Line cheaping out on the disc art to save money?

That was one of my first posts here.

Don't worry, they're real. I think WB just uses the silver top discs to save money sometimes.

I think Golden Compass had 2 BD's in the original release, so you may want to check how many discs come in that set.

That's what I was wondering about since I had heard that The Golden Compass does have the 2 BD discs an I am afraid the 4 movie collection may not include that extra disc.
