Does anyone by any chance would have this damned Green Inferno póster. I can't download from Cinematerial, the whole gallery has been deleted for some copyright crap.

Yes I got a takedown request from Universal and Disney, and they are very unreceptive to my arguments for the value of CineMaterial They are also very very slow in responding to my emails.

I'm still not sure what their exact problem is and why CineMaterial is different from blogs, forums or IMPawards (for example). It could be the higher resolution, but when I offered to lower the maximum resolution I still had to take down everything. It could be that I'm selling premium memberships, but I've made very clear that CineMaterial is a not for profit hobby project, that revenue is used to cover server costs, and that I have a regular daytime job. I'm now in the process of regenerating all thumbnails without a watermark as that might also be something they dislike (just a guess though since they didn't answer my question).

All in all it feels pretty unfair that they go after me I believe CineMaterial is actually beneficial to the movie industry rather than "causing serious damage to our business interests, reputation and goodwill" (Disney's words). I mean, it isn't a torrent site or anything like that. If anyone here knows a thing or two about copyright I'd love to have some advice; this whole situation is pretty stressful.

I only partially agree with you... There is no way to know for sure that the users of this forum are exclusively here because of an interest in BluRay's, just as there is no way for me to know my visitors are potential theatre visitors, right?

Moreover: I have offered to lower the resolution of the images, so that they'd only be for displaying purposes and wouldn't generate any revenue. That wouldn't be any different from IMDb, blogs, social networks, themoviedb.org, etcetera etcetera. But even that proposal is not satisfactory to them
