I don't really like that Futurestore exclusive. Red frame is kinda distracting.

I have the German "Media Markt" exclusive. A friend should ship it out this week. Much nice cover imo.

German ebay typically. The writing is actually on the case and is in German.

I have been reading quite a few thread on the Steelbook forum. This German Media Market release of SteelBooks that you guys keep talking about, I take it you can't buy them from amazon.de. Apart from ebay German, are there any online shop in Germany to buy these Media Market SBs from? Thanks in advance.

I have both and I think the Future Shop version is much, much nicer!
This one is WAY too dark.

How come the picture on uncut.ch looks different to the picture listed on post #1?

The cover on uncut.de looks identical to the one currently being sold on amazon.de. This amazon.de blu-ray is definitely not a steelbook, correct?

if you look at the link carefully,amazon shows a diferrent angle of the case.its not a steelbook.

Amazon did NOT and never will sell the steelbook since it is a shop exclusive release to Media Markt (now OOP). Except maybe on marketplace.

Uncut and its sister site Moviehouse are Swiss sites which sell a few of the Media Markt exclusive steelbook releases online. The photo is obviously a stock photo of the regular amaray. However they did sell the Iron Man steelbook as confirmed by Kynch. Other confirmed steelbooks there are Hellboy II and Body Of Lies (Der Mann, der niemals lebte)

i have the feeling that german steels are not as bright as french ones...Léon & this iron man steelbook have dark tones...does anybody know why ? does the material is different ? or it's just the print?

German steels are not that glossy as i.e. French or US. I was tempted to say it's only the printing, but it seems like the surface is brushed which gives them a more classy look. Not to forget the embossed letters on some of them! And in addition you don't have to care as much for fingerprints as on the glossy ones.
