Movies based on YA novels.
They're aimed at my age group but I can't bring myself to watch any of them, the ones I have seen haven't impressed me in the slightest (Hunger Games, Divergent, Twilight). I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy but have never been interested in Harry Potter, I remember glimpses as a kid and recall liking the world rather than the main characters. I don't feel the urge to revisit them anytime soon. The Bourne movies just look bland and uninteresting to me. Maybe one day. Transformers 2 was enough for me to know I was better off not seeing 3 and 4 Never seen a Nicola Sparks movie in its entirety, never will. Two films I haven't gotten around to watching for less negative reasons are Munich, Saving Private Ryan and The Terminal. I'm a huge fan of both Spielberg and Hanks but these two have just never crossed my path. |
