I didn't have to pay the tax if I buy from Epic, however. Same can be said for buying through Amazon, though.

I mean, you don't have to pay tax from buying THIS item on Amazon. It's being sold from a third-party seller, which happens to be Epic Pictures, so tax won't be included from them (at least from personal experience).

After not receiving a notice of shipment around the time I should have, I contacted them and they said that due to weather problems, it was slow in getting out, but that it was being shipped in a day or two. It was shipped from Kentucky on Feb. 2 and arrived in Springfield, Oregon on Feb. 8.

Yes 3rd party sellers are tax free. I just added this to my cart, saw Prime, and assumed it was Amazon selling. I'm hoping for maybe $24.99 on this.

But I still miss the tax free days of Amazon.

The only special feature on the blu-ray is the audio commentary, the rest are on the bonus dvd.

That's disappointing to learn. I assume company cares more for the extra space on the blu-ray for the video encoding, because there shouldn't be any issue to integrate the extras in the blu-ray.

And I think the canada and uk releases have the extras on the blu-ray, not sure why they didn't do the same for the us release.

I got my copy earlier. Unfortunately it was kind of beat up during shipping and all the discs were dislodged.

It's a bummer, especially considering it's $30. I figure there is no use in returning it because the packaging is so shitty there is no possible way the next one won't be damaged during shipping as well.

That's where I ordered mine, but be warned it'll most likely be delivered a little beat-up because the packaging is fairly cheap. Similar to the Omen blu-ray boxset if you're familiar with that packaging. Flimsy cardboard.
