I'd also credit it with reaffirming the notion, that patriotism's nothing to be ashamed of. Another pick would be The Passion of the Christ, which holds true to the Gospels with very few major deviations. Not only is it an expertly-crafted film, but its success in theaters proved audiences still crave faith-based movies; they're just tired of poorly-made ones.
