Mirage speakers

Be aware, they are very different from conventional speakers. Some people like the difference, some don’t. They tout in their ads that they produce a very wide soundstage, which they do, but some people feel it’s a bit too wide, and some of the sounds which should be more focused (voices, gun shots etc.) just kind of float out in space. It’s easy to be taken by this open sound because it is so different to what we’re use to from conventional “boxed” speakers, but I would say it’s important to hear them in a good set up first before pulling the trigger.

On the other hand, I have four speakers of the same design I use for my surround & back surround with great results. I found though when using the same speakers across the front 3 positions, the effect was too much.
