I have an 805 and I love it and I know the 905/906 have the HQV chip set for video in them, I will be green with envy if you get that 906. Onkyo just a great reciver at a great price, very solid build.
How difficult is the set up on the Onkyo. The set up on the Denon was pretty easy to me. It was almost like plug and play. Also, please do not shoot the messanger and I realize there has benn many comments/threads about the heat issue with the Onkyo. I realize the amp section in the Onkyo is pretty powerful for a reciever and with the HQV Reon was just curious.

The heat thing is not an issue unless you put something directly on top of its vents Yes my Onkyo runs hot but Onkyo themselves have said that they are supposed to run hot. They have a huge beefy power supply in them so you don't have to worry about it crapping out too.

As far as setup goes its extremely easy, just plug in your devices and speakers and start the Audyssey calibration. And thats it! You cant go wrong with this unit.

I've found Yamaha units to be quite complex and at times confusing to setup. Onkyo's auto calibration is normally accurate and simple for me.
