I shall rectify this, thanks to Arrow.
Bride is a great sequel. I enjoyed Beyond more, both are great but Beyond was a better movie (for me IMO etc)

Hope Beyond gets a release too

I just picked up the 'Deep Red' Japan versions of Reanimator/DVD - Reanimator Integral Cut - and Bride of Reanimator. Anybody know if they're any good or better than whats out before I open them? I'm pretty sure Arrow's Bride will be better being 2k scanned and all.

Bride of Re-Animator Japanese Blu-ray is censored according to reviews.

No, but since they remove VAT for US customers, your final total will have to be over £50. You still get the £10 discount when/if the final pre-order price(s) drop below £50, if the terms are the same as the last £10/£50 promo they had.

Lol, yeah there are the points to use. I was going to order direct using points and paying £13.99. But amongst the order placed with Amazon using the £10 off code I'd see it as similar and will now use my points to blind buy The Zero Boys cheaper....win win

Well if Bride is indeed censored, that's a deal killer, and the integral cut is only a curiosity with the wisely deleted scenes put back in as in the TV cut.
But, I just re-compared the DE & JP blu-rays of Re-Animator and still find the JP one to look more natural in colors & skin tones, so I keep em both. A couple of guys think I'm crazy, cause they're basing their opinion on the somewhat subpar US BD, but the JP BD looks miles better than the US, even though it is from the same print/tranfer, the encoding or whatnot is obviously superior. If you have that one you may wanna give it a watch. While most other new 4k/2k transfers have prompted me to give away my old BDs, I still think this JP one is worth having.
Even though I also have the "deluxe" digibook DE Bride, I have the Arrow on order and am really looking forward to it, hoping it may be a slight improvement over an already good release.

Guess they don't know yet, but I haven't heard back from Arrow whether the UK one could have a removeable cert 18 logo, like they managed with Hellraiser Scarlet box, and Society (at least on their UK site, I have their US BD). But at 13 GBP, I'll take a chance. Just a pity, since that design looks so nice.

Pre-ordered! This looks like another Arrow release that'll sell out before the release date imo

I only recently got the German edition of this which is basically the same in a mediabook format.
I wonder if the extras will be good enough to double dip. It's not high on my list of favourites

Don't suppose we're close to knowing the final artwork for this?

I recently bought the bargain priced German Steelbook that includes Re-Animator and Bride of Re-Animator. I vaguely remembered being "eh" about the sequel when I first saw it years ago and re-watching it was even more of a chore than I remember. Yuzna is definitely not as talented as Stuart Gordon. The film really, really pales in comparison to the original in every way. I definitely will not be double-dipping for the Arrow release.

For anyone else that is just "eh" about Bride of Re-Animator, I highly recommend the German steelbook that includes both films. Since the price is so low you can look at Bride as a bonus feature.

The German BD release of one of the Re-Animator films (1st one I think) has 1 more version of the film than the UK BD has
