I watched this a little while ago and Im convinced that the whole cast and crew (not Sho - hes very serious in this unlike everyone else) were rather the "worse for wear" during the whole thing to put it one way. The lead actress is definitely on something - if you watch it again keep an eye on her face. Looks stoned to me.
Well actually I did remember the villain and the badass lesbian hench-woman (?) but just wanted to name some specific scenes. Ho dude, I saw that movie more times than I would care to admit now I'll have to look out for the "stoned" bit though. I was a kid in school when I saw the film and very naive about such things

LOL!

Actually I thought "Rage of Honor" was his James Bond movie.

Watch 9 Deaths again bearing Bond in mind. Its quite obvious that Sho thinks hes in a Bond movie. Trouble is, noone else seems to know - or theyre too out of it to care!

Watch it again and keep a close eye on them. The lead actress (not the lesbian hench-woman ) has trouble speaking a lot of the time...lots of slurring etc. I think all of them are on something - except Sho obviously!

I was just reading this last night and thinking the same thing. Perhaps it's time for a new one?

Default Sho Kosugi

If you guys have a minute, check out my 9 Deaths of the Ninja review.

Never knew that the director was once tied to Enter the Ninja!

Also, Sho is supposedly making a comeback!

I'm finding it hard to pull the trigger on Blind Fury. It feels like it's just a matter of time before Shout Factory or Kino Lorber releases in on Blu-ray in the US with some extras.

Oh I'd buy 9 Deaths of the Ninja in a heartbeat! One of the funniest films I have ever seen.

Incidentally, I had the old US DVD which was horrible (4:3) but bought a Korean R0 DVD which was the proper 2:35(ish) ratio and looked pretty much as good as you could expect for a DVD of this budget etc.

Cmon somebody! Release 9 Deaths! Ive seen far worse films getting blu-ray releases!
