I tried this and if the lockers are full after 3 tries UPS ships it back. It wouldn't have been so bad if the item I had shipped wasn't OOP and they can't send a replacement. Pretty crazy...
I didn't realize they still had Amazon Lockers. It isn't available where I live yet they built a DC in the same city. Amazon uses USPS for most orders and UPS for backorders. Amazon still ships things where USPS will deliver on Sundays even with weekend delivery turned off. One my jobs they don't post the schedule till noon on Saturday when the new schedule starts on Sunday!!! Gotta love the people that makes the schedule posting policy have a set schedule Mon-Fri. Sorry for my Joxx style rant.

I was posting about this earlier (including some threads here) about a week prior the Black Friday shopping start. AT the time I was hoping they had simply suspended it during the holiday season but alas when it didn't come back after X-Mas I knew it was doomed. For a long time after that, Amazon still had their HELP section referencing it which I found amusing since there isn't really a place to fix or correct things i just muttered anti-Amazon rhetoric everywhere and went on about things.

Why do they have to worry? Best Buy is damn determined to get out of physical media fully within a couple years (damned if "everyone just streams things" is real, but you can really sell that narrative if YOU HAVE NOTHING TO ACTUALLY SELL). Target and Wal-Mart are not much better places for media. Amazon is the only large retailer that can stock most of the older stuff because they have the warehouse space. They are still lower priced than most other avenues. They know this. It doesn't mean it won't bite them in the ass someday, but they can do whatever they want right now and there is nothing to stop them.

The heartening this about all this is that smaller, mom-and-pop stores are coming back, like local record stores, smaller grocery stores, indie video stores.

The biggest problem with Amazon is they match other vendors' lower prices, yet do not originate low prices themselves.

So this was never resolved? Is there no way to submit a cheaper price?

on some items (i skimmed through some blu-rays and didn't see these options) that have a "product information" section, all the way at the end under "feedback," there's the old "tell us about a lower price" link: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B002RRH23W/

You aren't still seeing it on there are you??? - It's no where to be found on that page for me.

...Wait a minute was that a clever micro marketing campaign designed to get us to buy the shelf?

Way off topic, but but if you bought any, how do you like it/them?
I did take a look at it. I wouldn't plan on CDs, just Blu-rays or DVDs. But at the loss of some shelf space, that person with the sagging shelves could really cut & stain some center supports to sure up that center section and stop the sag.

He's right as the "tell us about a lower price" link is on that page.

In regards to the shelving, although they have new colors now, I've had one of those for roughly 14 years albeit in Oak. It's held up OK, although it's not the best quality, just the standard Sauder/Bush paper pressboard and not solid wood or MDF.

so, strangely, the latest firefox 45.0.1 (top screenshot, with adblockplus disabled) has this newer "add to cart" area but does not have the "lower price" link, while ie11 (bottom screenshot, with no ad blocking) has the old one, but DOES have the "lower price" link. this is on a windows 7 system with 1080p monitors, not sure if that matters.

as for the quality, agree with rdodolak; i immediately loaded it up with digibooks in the bottom, an entire row of steels above that, and a bunch of double/triple features, plus a bunch more multi-disc sets piled on top, for maybe around a year now, and it's holding up fine with not much sagging at all. the peg spacing is not quite right for blu-rays, such that there's room for another two horizontally in each shelf space, so i filled in that way, too, as i'm currently space-constrained. it's fine enough that i'll probably pick up another if the price ever drops to $30 or $35 again

I've noticed Amazon tends to randomly test changes over a long period of time. Sometimes the site will have a different layout for a week or two and then it will revert back to the current layout. It might be driven based on the browser cookies.
