I trust CL more than I trust ebay. I never had a problem on CL. You meet the person face to face do the transaction and DONE! no shipping no waiting, no issues.

Just get a refurbished model from store.apple.com. You won't find a lower price, and it comes with a full warranty. It will be in like new condition.

If you happen to be a student, you can order direct from Apple w/ a student discount. Probably not as big a deal as you are looking for, but it's something...

I don't think they will drop a whole lot, if at all this year.
See they just released the new IPhone and new IPod nano this year and at the same time reduced prices for all other models.

If your just looking to play mp3s/video, with a good size hdd and a resonable price. then get a zune
