I never watched a lot of films from before I was born, except Disney classics and rare gems like The Sound of Music or The Wizard of Oz. However, I did like Jimmy Stewart in Its A Wonderful Life and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.

And everybody else is kind of classic. But you're right Golden Age has a definite meaning to it.
