Awesome collection ! Really digging the Star Wars posters.

Will you be adding the new Boba Fett PF to your collection ? Just received mine today, it's a great piece & well worth picking up.

Congrats, mine will be delivered to the UPS store today, but I don't have time to pick stuff up until Saturday.

Man, I even forgot I made this thread LOL! I finally installed Besta lights, I'll have to update pics over here. Where the hell have you been on the other forum? Lol. I think the last thing I bought was a little 9 inch Harley Quinn Femme Fatales statue from Batman the Animated Series. I should have Tweeterhead Pfeiffer Catwoman shipping out to me in 12 days. Pretty stoked for that. I haven't bought anything Star Wars related in forever. I'm waiting for that Kylo Ren PF to go up for order but its taking SS forever.

Have you gotten anything new lately?

Thanks!

From the pics I've seen of the new Boba he looks incredible! But with his large base he would be just a bit too tall for my Star Wars besta display. I have a problem with the larger base pieces lining up with the door frames, so I'll just be sticking with the ROTJ Boba.

I know I haven't been over there in forever. Other than that Hulk, I'll have Boba Fett and the JSC Black Cat on Saturday. Did Lou get the new Fett? Maybe I'll stop over there and post pics of mine after I pick it up on Saturday. I also might have my most expensive purchase yet coming in this month, I'm working on getting it arranged.

Ooooo what is it? Is it big?

Lou hasn't pulled the trigger on Fett yet, I think he might just stick with the original one. That thing is so tall everyone with bestas with doors will have fitment issues with him. There is a part of me that still wants to get him though and leave him displayed out in the open.

Are you going to order the Supergirl PF?

It will be a surprise

Yeah I think I'm going to put Fett and the new Vader on my tv speakers. Try collecting the DC line, over half the statues they've made are too tall for bestas! And unfortunately I can't fit the 90" tall PAX in my basement. I'm thinking about getting the 79" ones and having two 30" shelf spaces while blocking out the bottom part with a shelf flipped on it's side.

That Supergirl is OKAY, but it's definitely not good. I will probably pass unless I can get it at a discount. I don't understand Sideshow's refusal to listen to customers, every other company is doing it. XM is constantly changing things based on customer response. Plus there are a lot of other companies putting out cool stuff now, no point in paying Sideshow half a grand for subpar efforts. PCS is making a Karl Urban Dredd statue and Imaginarium Art is starting to develop G1 Transformers statues! Plus Chronicle is putting out cool Terminator stuff (unfortunately it's only from Genisys at the moment, but I think they have the Conan the Barbarian movie license now too). And there are a lot of comics I want. It's unfortunate because Supergirl is one of my favorite characters and I was really looking forward to having a 1/4 scale statue of her.

Thats exciting! I can't wait to see what it is . Hope everything works out for you.

I think your speakers would be a perfect spot for Boba and Vader. The new ones really are meant to be displayed out in the open and compliment each other really well. Not to mention those two characters would make incredible centerpieces and great conversations pieces for a collection.

I actually saw somebody flip the shelf on its side to cover an empty bottom space on a besta and it looked really good. And you could use the hidden space for comic book storage .

SS not listening to the customers aggravates me to no end. They are just so stubborn. If SS would have listened to what people were saying with the Reeve Supes PF I more than likely would have gotten it. I'm still bummed about not having a Reeve in my collection. Supergirl isn't important to me but just reading the comments I've seen there really aren't many people happy with her. They tried to fix her left handed salute with some kind of weird hand gesture. They needed to just move her freaking arm away from her head altogether LOL.

Edit: Wait, what??? PCS is making a Karl Urban Dredd? I have to look into this! I freaking loved that movie!

Sorry I edited my post and confused you. Yeah Sideshow aggravates me as well, I don't get them at all. This is the third Superman statue they've screwed up if you count that awful Man of Steel PF as well.

Yeah check it out, he goes on sale on Monday:

You can find that Man of PVC PF for under $200 on ebay. It doesn't help the movie wasn't really well received either. I'm still not feeling good about this currently planned DC movie universe.

Whoa that looks freaking sweet! Is it bad that I wouldn't mind a Stallone Dredd statue lol.

I have zero confidence in what DC is doing with their movies. I didn't care much for Man of Steel and Suicide Squad looks bad. I'm planning on seeing Batman vs. Superman, but have very low expectations. I actually liked the actor they got to play Superman, but the movie was meh. At least all of their TV shows are enjoyable.

I've honestly never seen Stallone's Judge Dredd. I've heard it's not good, ha.

I'm thinking the lower my expectations are the more of a chance I might actually end up liking these movies. But I also think I'm going to do my best to keep myself out of a negative mood about them, because I've realized that we are going to be stuck with this currently planned universe for at least a decade, and if I keep being negative I'm just going to end up being super crabby when it comes to DC for the decade lol, at least from the DC movies standpoint.

No, its not good. LOL! Its more of a nostalgia thing I guess.

Is it bad that I'm kind of hoping the DC movies fail so they have to take them a different direction? I don't care for Zack Snyder, I don't think he's ever made a movie I liked. 300 was cool visually, but there was no plot or substance to the movie.

So I will continue to avoid Judge Dredd then, ha. I still need to watch the original Robocop!

I'm definitely not a Zack Snyder fan either, I just don't care for his bleak tone that is present in every single one of his movies. BvS is going to have an absolutely enormous opening weekend that will rival anything that Marvel has ever done, but there are a ton of DC fans that did not like MOS, and have not liked what they've seen in the BvS trailers either. So after they see this movie and if they don't like it I think negative word of mouth could spread very quickly and this movie could drop at the box office very quickly. If it drops fast enough and if the movie is truly awful maybe WB will scrap everything. Its a long shot but its possible.

Robocop was alright, but it just isn't one of my favorites or anything. I'm not the one to talk to to hype you up for the movie lol.

Ha, I guess not! It's going to be interesting to hear the reviews in 2 weeks. I can say I was way more excited about the new Civil War trailer today!

Did you see Sideshow is distributing Iron Studios products now? I recall them announcing having a 1/4 scale Star Wars license a while back. Of course you know the first two statues they make will be Vader and Fett. I wish SS could sell XM products, they are pumping out the Marvel statues and killing it! I'd love to get my hands on their upcoming Kingpin and Punisher on a motorcycle. Did you see their Ghost Rider? This thing is crazy!

Good God! How much is that thing?

Yeah the first two will definitely be Vader and Fett lol. I really love what I've seen from XM, but my favorite company at the moment is actually Prime 1. (This could definitely be because they are absolutely killing it with their Batman statues lol).

Today's Civil War trailer was amazing! Spidey looks cool. He looks like Alex Ross style.

Yeah I'm excited about Spider-Man, disappointed he's on Iron Man's team!

I have no clue how much that thing will run for, especially for people in the U.S. trying to get their hands on it!

Have you bought any Prime 1 stuff yet? I'm hoping they step up and make a good Supergirl, although initial photos look like they are making new 52 costumes and nobody wants that, ha. Speaking of Batman, since you're the expert what do you think of this cape on the PF? I don't like the ridiculous heavy capes on the Superman or Batman. The only thing bothering me is it doesn't quite match the shade of the cowl.
