Well - OK... I think you know what I mean. His movies just dont, well, I duno how to say it. A clear narrative maybe isnt the right phrase. How about "some" narrative. Something to grasp onto. I tried 2-3 of his other known films after Days of Heaven and all of them just plodded along and I wondered WTF I was watching and why? David Lynch, Kubrick to a lesser extent are much bettre at being ambiguous or whatever.

Terry is great with the camera but cant tell a story to save his life.
