I know Criterion released the film on Laserdisc in the late 80s/early 90s, but since when did they start reissuing titles that were already on blu-ray in the first place?

Fantastic Planet looks very interesting, so that one I may blind-buy. I'd have to check out the others first before I commit to a purchase. And, while I have seen Dr. Strangelove, I wasn't a fan of it at the time; perhaps I'll revisit the film.

The main thing being lost is the PiP track, most of the other stuff appears to be carried over. I don't really see the point of the release to be honest, it doesn't offer anything major over the existing release.

Except that this will be in print whereas the previous version no longer is, which is good for those who never got that first release.

Good releases except Strangelove, which is a complete waste since the Sony disc is already pretty much perfect.

If you love Cult films, you'll love Fantastic Planet. Think of it as Alice in Wonderland on Acid. The music soundtrack itself is really groovy in a psychedelic/funky way. People say it reminds them of Pink Floyd.
