Exactly! Like how they do it in Soul Caliber 4 with the 'Honors' (Trophys). I hope that they'll eventually push a patch to make these in-game trophys to the PSN network.

500 really isn't that much, you will naturally get it by just playing the game.

just don't use weapons that aren't effective for the situation. so if your in 1st, absorb your rockets, cause there is no point in firing them.

I don't have it yet, but I was actively trying on one 3 lap race and I absorbed about 20 of them. I'm just going to get it as I play the game, but if you are a trophy hunter, I would think you could get it pretty easily.

Ahhh, getting that was easy, even easier than getting the 20 perfect consecutive zones I got yesterday. Now I'm going for zone zeus.

The more you remember to use barrel rolls in a race, the quicker you'll get the sponge trophy as you're more concernced with absorbs.

I almost always absord shields, cannons and autopilots to make sure I can always keep on barrel rollin'!

I changed my buttons around. I much prefer using R1 to absorb and Circle to deploy a weapon.

I put rear view to square.

LOL! Yeah, theres rear-view, but its pretty pointless as all the matters is whats right in front of you. Also, you know when someone is close behind with the read arrows behind your car.

When would you even get a chance to use it?!

especially on phantom speed, try to look behind you and end up smacking into the wall!

I don't need the arrows - I have floorstanding Paradigm towers for my rears and when I ship is right behind me....I know it.

Checking your rear-view from time to time and not crashing, is the sign of an accomplished pilot.
