I hear ya. So what if it is blue. Slipcase covers it. Save the slim black 4 disc stacker that deserves it....uh like one with 4 discs!

This has got to be one of the coolest looking blurays I own. It makes me want to watch the other 6 films again, and I just did it!

I can say we had two copies arrive in our office today from Amazon and it was one of each. Mine has trays, my co-workers is a stacker.

So my Target preorder I placed on March 6 did not arrive today. It seems to be taking a tour of several cities.

Isn't it reasonable to expect a preorder to arrive on or before street date?

Do you think it is worth complaining to target online, or is an effort for compensation a futile one at best?

Had an employee give me the blu-ray today as a "Thank You for giving me my first job" gift today. Was pretty humbled by this. He got me the non-steel book from BB, which was what I had planned on getting. Crazy. When I opened it I did freak for a second, only saw the two discs, not realizing it was the stacked case. Had to laugh at myself.

Can anyone tell me where they bought, or where they buy, their replacement cases? I usually use Casetopia on eBay, but they don't have the black 3 disc tray case.

Now, to watch this bad boy!!

Me too. According to an email I got two days ago I should receive I e it between the 7th and the 12th. So what is the point of preordering it if I get it a week after it comes out?

Just FYI, an email I just recieved from JB HI-FI this afternoon regarding my pre-order of the steelbook. Ive put a couple of sections in bold just to highlight a few points.

We will be processing all pre-orders for this title over the next few days, and this means you will receive a shipping confirmation email for your order JB*************-0, in the coming days. Due to a strict supplier embargo we are not able to physically ship any orders until end of this week. Please note that the current release date is the 13/04/2016.

Note the "strict employer embargo" and the stressing of the Wednesday release date.

There is no way these will be on the shelves on Monday. I'd pay good money to see the look on your face when you see that Stormtrooper standee proclaiming "2 Days To Go"

In a weird way, that's kinda awesome. Whoever got that should be happy with having to pay a little less for the steelbook copy.

Anyhow, I picked my Force Awakens steelbook up an hour ago. The store had plenty left (and plenty of in-store pick-ups ready for their respective buyers)

The Target in the same shopping area had some of their exclusive digipak left too, but I honestly prefer the bulkier, sturdier look of the Best Buy steelbook far more than the surprisingly flimsy looking appearance of the Target digipak.

if there is such a "strict employer embargo", why would they risk it and ship out at the end of this week? That would mean the shipments could arrive as soon as Monday/ Tuesday which still breaches embargo. If indeed the shipments go out at the end of the week, I believe there will be a good chance of the movie being available at JB on Monday afternoon.

I noticed my standard set's DVD printing is very poor, yet my Steelbook DVD looked much better. Yet again, luck of the draw.
