Is there any way to upgrade your SD copies to HD without buying the entire movie again? Doesn't seem very fair on iTunes part, they should at least let you pay the difference since you're not getting anything "free." Has anyone had any luck e-mailing or asking them for this?

Reportedly it is up to the studios to allow this and they don't right now. Edit:Because someone may bring it up, the only 2 upgrade paths I know of are the Sony UV store allows upgrade of codes redeemed there and probably purchases SD to HD $5 and HD to UHD $15 I think. THe second is Disney for older SD XML code redemptions to HD when joining DMA. |
