Yeah, it looks like 84 Entertainment have managed to licence the HD master from them. Great news!

Oh look, a HD master from lost film sources.

The excuse for the substandard US DVD was pushing it! They just didn't bother to look or want to pay for a new scan back then.

I've really enjoyed Fright Night but seeing the trailer for this it looks just a bit sillier than expected..

Fantastic. This will be a Day One purchase for me !!

I love the original Fright Night and have recently picked it up on Blu-Ray but I have never gotten around to seeing Part II before.

Just this week I was thinking about picking up a DVD copy from amazon.de and I get this news.

With the well publicised rights issues I never imagined this would see the light of day on Blu-Ray.

Oh it's fun even if not really hitting the highs of the original. Pretty much the same formula but with some new spin. Looks like a TV movie in pan and scan, I've never seen it in the original Scope so can't wait.

Ooooh, Fright Night Part II. Haven't seen this film in ages. I've always been baffled as to why it hasn't been treated better on home video, what with it being a sequel (in which the two leads return) to a relatively popular 80s horror film. It's not exactly obscure.

Now if only one of the bluray release companies could get this and bring it out for an US version.

Will be picking this up and retiring my Artisan full frame DVD release.
Heard it goes for a pretty penny.

Well it's nowhere near as good as the original. Pretty much one of those "inferior sequels" that recycles bits and pieces, and isn't as good on any level. BUT...if you're a fan, it's still pretty fun, and in widescreen, it'll be watchable again.

It used to. Now it can be found under $20 pretty much all over the place, probably because of the widescreen HDTV cap that's circulated for the last few years.

You can still get something for it, but not nearly as much as a few years ago.

Great news! I can't see it being released in another country in the near future.

So gonna get this. I've never seen it, but love the first one so I figure I should be able to get at least some enjoyment out of it.

Not in the same league as the classic but Fright Night 2 has its moments.

I thought Amazon.de refuses to carry titles from this label? Or is it just certain titles? I'm planning on grabbing this from Diabolik.

Like with their Tourist Trap release, we probably won't know until people get it and check.

But let's not worry about that until we have a release date.
