United Kingdom Doctor Foster (BBC)

Surprisingly, it looks like the BBC series Doctor Foster (2015-) will be getting an upgrade on 11 April 2016. The DVD of the first series was released on 11 October 2015, and apparently a second series was commissioned for this year, which is set to begin filming in the fall.

Has anyone watched the show? I will probably pick it up, as I do love my BBC Blu-rays, and there aren't many I won't watch these days.

Hey guys,

Just FYI as there's no artwork yet, this has just taken a drop of almost £10 today, from £24.48, to now just £14.99. I would still like to see some covers to confirm that the release is actually going to happen on 11 April (or otherwise), but since it seems likely, you might as well lock in the good deal now.

Watched it at the time, it was very easy to watch and get wrapped up in. One of those where the hour just goes by like its been 20 minutes. You want to know what happens next, but its no broadchurch.

The adverts and initial sinister looking plot gave me a different impression to the actual programme. The new cover art is IMO a tad misleading too. It was clever and interesting, then became normal but still intriguing, then finally a bit meh. One where you build up your own wishful conclusion but nothing that colourful happens.

Worth a watch, wasn't disappointed overall. Unsure what story a second series can approach unless it becomes a run of the mill GP drama?

Am considering getting the UK Blu-ray release of the first series. I didn't see it when it aired on BBC One, but had read very good things about it. Apparently, it should have been a one-season only series.

My parcel with my copy of this still has not appeared from Amazon, even as other, later shipments have, so I am beginning to get nervous. Otherwise, I would have commented on the release as well, by now.

Can anyone who owns it please tell me if it's Region Free or Region A compatible? Amazon UK says Region B in their listing but since I can't find the back of the sleeve anywhere on the net, I can't find out if it's accurate or not. I want to own this show no matter what; on Blu-ray preferably but if it's not Region A compatible, then I'll have to buy the DVD set which comes out next Tuesday here in Canada. Thanks!

Can't see another thread, but Series 2 is airing now and the Blu-ray, plus a Blu-ray boxset of Series 1 & 2 are available to pre-order.

Glad it arrived! Wish I'd jumped on the deal now too but I was a little unsure as I've had some bad luck with dodgy sellers on eBay lately so I held back. Really made up yours arrived perfectly
