You are located in Italy and we are based in the States so yes, the packaging's journey is much longer but placing the blame on the negligence of the carriers is simply incorrect. Yes, damage can occur and can be blamed on the carriers but only when appropriate packaging is used. However, a flat cardboard envelope with no cushion or bubble wrap on the inside is not my definition of "very well protected packaging."

I did state in my post that Amazon.it did take better steps towards improving their shipping style but it can still be far better. Amazon.de has far superior packaging so that is the measure of standard and until they can match or exceed it, they will continue to fall very short.
