All of the marketing material used ID4 as its release date... as it was originally released on July 4th 1996 (well July 3rd if you believe IMDB)

Looking in trivia on IMDB you will also come across this:

The abbreviation "ID4" was invented due to legal problems with the title "Independence Day". Before 20th Century Fox reached a deal with Warner Bros. for the rights to the title, they suggested the film be called "Invasion" or "Sky on Fire" among many other titles.

Anyone know what's going on with the 'Krampus' BD? My local JB told me that there is no stock in the country, and Sanity doesn't seem to have it either. Manufacturing error? Distribution problem?

Not that it really helps in regards to the Blu ray, but I saw the DVD at my local Sanity yesterday. I'm thinking the Blu ray might have been pulled for some reason and we only get a DVD release. The same thing happened with Sinister 2.

The RRP for this title is $39.95 (its cost price is $27.24 EX GST)

Just because JB gets ridiculous deals and sells titles for prices that NO normal retailer could ever hope to sell them for does not make his comment valid.

Nobody cares if you don't want to pay $35 for something... You don't have to, nobody is forcing you to, build a bridge, get over it.

Hahaha - the irony is, especially with my last two posts that seem to flummox people (this one and the one in the Psycho forum) is that people took them way too literally or personally. (Although the remark about the ratings logos - I really am over that complaint - that horse not only died... it is probably diamonds by now...)

Of course you are all entitled to your opinions and to post them freely....personally I have just had enough of all the negativity and constant complaining in this forum in particular and I refuse to engage in that crap anymore. (noting the irony of replying to your post )

So hence forth I will just post the relevant info in the areas I am in charge of, and answer peoples questions relating to releases etc. where I can.
