Too bad it doesn't match either the first WWA Maze Runner or the flat MR that BBY put out

Inconsistency is our only constant

I'm still curious to know if this Blufans edition will include the 3D BD.

I think all other countries pulled the 3D didnt they? I would be shocked if BF were able to get a version manufactured for them.

Nah ... kimchi's one was still the best. Embossed spine lettering, good slip paper and a very good 3D depth lenti.

The only thing this has going for it is the fact it comes with a comic book and a 300 print run.

Sorry which is front and which is back. Is the crackly side with the title the front?

Took me a minute to figure out too but yes, the crackly side is the front.

Very nice! really enjoyed the film so this is a must-have.

Is kimchi still using "O-Ring"-type slips? I like their Maze Runner 2 lenti but I've grown to dislike those hollow slips.

Yes, they are still using those slips. Why don't you like them? I like how they don't add that much depth to the packaging and they always seem to fit very nicely.

I don't like them precisely because they don't add depth. I just think they're pointless, much like J-cards. Sometimes the fit is so tight I just want to leave the slips off. My favorite premium steels are the ones with thick full slips

Totally agree with this. I don't really like O-ring lentis at all, but Kimchi and Nova still use them

Ok so if anyone besides BF was doing this I would be super stoked about it. Love the artwork. The title, characters and all the cracks in the earth would be nice and embossed / epoxyed, making it look very cool. You'd be able to count on that if this was FA, Kimchi, even Nova or PA. Unfortuntely BF full slips tend to be rather plain and boring. I only have a couple of their full slips. Godzilla had the very nice Imax poster artwork but didn't know it would be so plain. Jack Reacher had an ok one, though nothing to write home about. Expected it with AS, and was main reason i skipped on Gone Girl.

Now, unless they've changed the effort they put into them, will probably be passing on this as well. I'd really like to get it, as I said I love the artwork, but until i see proof that BF has stepped up their full slip game, those monies are going to other companies willing to put the extra effort into their full slips.
