I passed on the PG-13 Die Hard, too. I might buy an unrated cut on Blu-ray if it adds a good amount of blood and language. It's pretty sad when McClane isn't allowed to say his trademark line.

The Pixar rat movie was very good. I don't like it as well as the Incredibles, but I like it more than Cars.

Part 3 is one of those films I like more every time I watch it.

H2O>5, 5-3>3, 3>Gnd, 5-2>3, H2O>5, 5-1>3 --> 4 in 5

I thought it was awesome...some great one liners...(but none as great as "NO SH*T LADY DOES IT SOUND LIKE I'M ORDERING A F*UCKIN PIZZA." Some great action scenes...I was very impressed. For the fourth film of a series it was awesome!

Live Free or Die Hard was an awesome movie. I went in expecting it to be absolutely horrible considering the trailer was one of the worst things ever slopped together...

I was totally impressed, being a huge fan of the entire trilogy, yes even the second one, I was totally stoked to see John Mclane on screen again and kicking some serious ass...

Personally, even though not the best of the four, LFODH had probably the best action sequences out of them all. The part where he punches through the wall and rips the guy through the sheet rock was absolutely classic...

"Yea, that could happen, or I could find you, kick your ass, and throw you out of your own party *******"

The movie was awesome, and if Fox releases all four in a box set on Bluray, I'll be all over that nonsense in a heartbeat.

no such thing as a PG-13 John McClane. He didn't want to do the movie, and only signed so he could have the rights to certain aspects of "Tears of the Sun" a few years back. I'll only watch it if it releases in an unrated (hopefully more "R" format) edition - otherwise it will ruin a great franchise for me.

Don't get me wrong, Bruce Willis is one of my top three favorite actors, but seriously.

In his Playboy interview, Mr. Bruce Willis himself said he didn't want to at first, but decided it would be fun. I saw it today, and man was I impressed. I didn't think it would be that good. It was. I didn't like the PG13 idea, but they made the best of it.

Another positive review here, I saw it Thursday night and loved it. It was frustrating to see all the cuts and mouths-not-matching-the-edited-swear-words, but the action was cool and it had the Die Hard feel. Timothy Olyphant can't match any of the previous Die Hard villains, but Willis carried the movie. I actually liked Justin Long's character, I was afraid he would be more of a distraction, but I didn't find that to be the case. Here's another vote for the release of an R or unrated cut, but I'll get this and the other Die Hards any way I can get 'em on BD. Since unrated cuts are the thing to do right now, it seems like our hopes may be answered.

Side note: Does anybody else remember back in the day where they would drop the F bomb a few times in PG movies? What has happened to society?

These links may be of some interest . . .

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0337978/faq

http://www.freezedriedmovies.com/blo...er-all!!!.html

Speculation at this point, but not all that implausible.

There are also some torrents out there for supposed unrated cuts of the film. I haven't downloaded them, but they're out there if anybody wants to take a stab.

Absolutely loved it. I was more pumped to see this than anything else this summer. I am a huge John McClane fan. This one didnt disappoint at all. I was worried about Justin Long too, but he was great. And Timothy Olyphant played a great villain. He is a great douche-baggy bad guy. Even in The Girl Next Door and Scream 2, he had that humorous-yet-evil thing going. Plus, just a great voice too. Kind of like Kiefer Sutherland. Just really good bad guy imo.

I'd like to see Godzilla (the movie from the 90s based in Manhattan/New York) and Home Alone 1 & 2 on BR.

DH 1 is one of the best action movies ever... in my personal opinion I'll say it is THE best action flick. I say 4 is about as good as 3... for sure better than 2.

4 is a new McClane... he's a cocky McClane. But deserves to be cocky after surviving the first 3 plots. Extremely entertaining. Can't wait for the BD!!!

From Wikipedia. Spaceballs is the example that I always remember.

In several PG-rated movies, however, the word is used, mainly because at the time there was no PG-13 rating and the MPAA did not want to give the films R ratings; for instance, All the President's Men (1976), where it is used seven times; The Kids Are Alright (1979), where it is used twice; and The Right Stuff (1983), where it is used five times. Spaceballs (1987) is an anomaly in that it was rated PG after the 1984 introduction of the PG-13 rating, yet it includes Dark Helmet's line, "'Out of order'?! ****! Even in the future nothing works!" In the PG-13 rated movie Soapdish (1991), Sally Field, played an aging soap opera actress. Appalled that her costume included a turban, she complained to her show's producer "What I feel like is Gloria ****ing Swanson!"
