Man of Steel is their first and only so far.

Seeing there are still Man of Steel copies available for pre-order...I'm assuming this company is just too new for things to instantly sell out?

But nearly $50 for a single release might be a little too rich for my blood. Not sure if it's so expensive just because it's their first release, and prices might go down over time...but that's pretty hefty.

I hope FAC releases their Revenant beauty shots before or around the same time as this. So I can make up my mind on one or the other, or both.

Also, being from China, does anyone know what region their discs will be coded in?

Lol, this doesn't mean that they are scrapping The Revenant and doing Deadpool instead, does it?

No, Deadpool will be done using the WWA steel and the Revenant will be a WEA release. Different lines - Global and Exclusive respectively. Just a typical Deadpool sort of move to announce it.

They are Def. doing Deadpool. It's going to be part of their Global line using the ROW steelbook (debossed one)

Yeah this is why I've been hesitant to pull the trigger. Comes to $60+ with shipping, and I already have a Steelbook for MoS anyway.

But I will be keeping an eye on Revenant. WEA has me interested.

well from what I know, Manta Lab is a Hong Kong company, and Hong Kong has the same region code for blurays as North America (region A).
it's only in China that has region C blurays.

i'm originally from hong kong actually...yes hong kong is a part of china, but i meant in "mainland" china (the rest of china other than hong kong) the region code is C.

hong kong is a part of china as a country, but we have our own independent jurisdiction and a lot of things are different from china...for example, bluray region codes!

I emailed Manta regarding this question. They are hoping to release new exclusive film every two months, of course variables can change that (approvals).

Every few months definitely might make it easier for me to consider buying these. No way I can do one-clicks right now, so now I have to decide between full slips or lentis..
