yea the one im going to days of the dead since the lineup of actors look real good:
Lineup for when im going is:
Shawnee Smith from Saw
Kristy Swanson from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Sig Haig from House of 1000 Corpses
Bill Mosely from house of 1000 Corpses
Zoe Bell from Death Proof
Tracy Thoms from Death Proof
Eugene Clark from Land of the Dead
daeg faerch from Halloween
Tyler Mane from Halloween
charles fleischer from nightmare on elm street
derek mears from friday the 13th reboot
and about a dozen more

so i figured the lineup was good enough to warrant a go especially cause of Sig Haig & Bill Mosely and also cause i guess Heather Elizabeth Langenkamp who played nancy from nightmare on elm street will be there

I attend Monster Mania in NJ pretty regularly. You'll see a few vendors selling new blu-ray product, but marked up to the point that it's not worth it. You'll find a lot of vendors selling bootleg dvd's of shows and movies at negotiable prices.

Speaking of werewolves, the news that "Bad Moon" is getting a director's cut was one of my favorite takeaways from all the news yesterday. Can't wait to see some new uncut footage that enhances an already excellent werewolf flick.
I would have Loved to see that Werewolf show as well! When did they announced it was getting a director's cut?! I just thought they were doing the theatrical. That's spectacular news!

Scream Factory hasn't announced it yet as far as I know. The director Eric Red spilled the beans. Regardless, a director's cut of "Bad Moon" is a day one purchase for me. One of my all-time favorite werewolf flicks.

cmac is Cliff McMillan, the producer of Scream Factory blu ray releases so it's pretty safe to say he knows what he's talking about.

As for the release date, here's the email update I received on 4/28:

You are receiving this email because you placed a pre-order with us for NIGHTHAWKS on Blu-ray.

Due to new opportunities that have arisen for bonus content, we have decided to postpone this release until October 18, 2016. This extra time will allow us to make sure our release of NIGHTHAWKS is as stacked with bonus features as possible. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your continued patience.

Your pre-orders for this title will remain open, and we will now ship your Blu-ray to arrive by October 4, 2016 – two weeks ahead of the new street date.

Just thought I'd let you guys know. I completed my collectors edition set today with slipcovers by buying my last title: Psycho III. I was looking for one with the slip and the only one was on eBay for over $40 . I bought it from Best Buy online and it came today with the slip. So for those looking for older editions with the slipcovers I would encourage you to try Best Buy.

Well, I didn't know that, so thanks for that information; I wasn't questioning whether he "knew what he was talking about" or not, I was just curious as to how he found that out, that's all.

I couldn't find any information about this title online, and Amazon still lists it as being available at the end of the summer, if I am not mistaken...Scream/Shout wouldn't even give me a date via email.

Also, Cliff:

Is there any information regarding what kind of audio mix Nighthawks on Blu will be equipped with? I know on the Goodtimes (and I think Universal) DVD, the original mono sound mix is encoded as two-channel Dolby Digital...will the Blu-ray be encoded as DTS Master Audio mono?

Just an FYI, any "Industry Insider" that has been vetted by this site will have the designation under their user name.

Like Cliff does, for example.

Following up on rickah88's post... Insiders also don't generally respond to direct questions though on occasion you may get lucky. All information will be shared when Shout Factory is ready to share it via press release... probably later this summer. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with asking, but realistically trying to address Cliff directly isn't usually your best option as there are plenty of knowledgeable members on this board and if/when Shout Factory wants us to know a release date, special feature, audio track etc. they'll let us know.

I actually didn't know that until I looked for it just a minute ago. I knew cmac was Cliff, but I didn't know they had a designation. I thought it would make sense so I checked when I saw who he was responding to and noticed that designation.

Does anyone know if Pumpkinhead was originally shrinkwrapped with a slip? I'm exchanging mine back to Amazon because the shrinkwrap on mine looks like someone opened it up and reshrinked it with an after market type.

Mine wasn't when I originally bought it when it first came out.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know The Hole was out on Blu already.
Yeah, Echo Bridge is pretty famous for delivering a very crappy PQ. That's a shame.
I'm also amazed the film was released in the US but not in the UK. It's a british film with Keira Knightley after all.
