Surprised Opera hasn't gone on board and done a port, they power the Wii browser. Even FireFox would be good!

Even if they installed firefox you would not have flash support.
There is no support for PPC yet, power pc computers has spotty
support.

Netfront has native support for flash lite.

If adobe ever goes off and does full support for PPC then maybe
we might get some love.

This is what people have been trying to say earlier in this thread but
its bouncing off so Captain Obvious had to fly again.

The only thing that stops me from using my PS3 browser is how slow it is compared to my Laptop's. Though the other reason was because I had a limited selection in video watching as Flash wasn't supported.

Now I'll give it another shot after I update my system and see how it goes!

Do you live in Austin Texas by chance? I switched to uverse right before this happened. Timer Warner losing this channel is really funny.......of course it got even more funny when I heard their commerical explaining how you can watch all the shows on nbc.com lol. Most people won't even know how to hook up their computers for this.

And btw the new update (2.5?) should have a flash player supposedly. So you don't have to wait too long.

For me its having to go over to my bookcase and pulling out my PS3 keyboard to use the browser. I'm definately looking forward to that Keyboard attachment to the controller as it'll satisfy my messaging and browsing needs. I think we are both in the big lazy boat of convience when it comes to using products.

Interesting I know people have been begging for adobe to support ppc for a while now, did the masses finally win?

Glad to hear of this..

This makes my life alot easier.. now only if my bank would use some form of usable means that would allow me to access it without the use of a computer...

Lol, Flash 9 isn't even the latest version of Flash. Sony should have waited a week. Flash 10 came out today.

Doesn't matter, pretty much all flash content, especially video content, posted online will be Flash 9 and will probably be that way for some time.

Still coudln't do youtube (said I didn't have flash?) after my 2.5 update. I swore that it worked before, though... hmm....

They should definitely let Opera have a go at it. At the very very least, Google Chrome. I'd prefer Opera, though.

Try clearing your browser caches, YouTube's worked fine ever since I can remember.

My elation has died. I used my PS3 browser to go to NBC.com to try to watch Heroes episodes, still won't play without a plug in which I don't see.
