Just watched the first episode on iplayer - liked what I saw and will continue with the remaining shows. Always have liked films / tv shows that base themselves off the characters written by Alexandre Dumas - even when artistic liberties are used.

It appears that the US Blu-ray features the "24p slowdown" that BBC has been applying to most of their recent releases. But does anyone know if this has been done to the UK release as well? (It seems hit or miss with their UK releases.)

Looking forward to S2, in a few weeks. I really enjoyed S1. Story, acting, and photography was quite good.

The third (and it appears, sadly the final) series of The Musketeers starts on BBC One on Saturday 28th May. First read about this on Geektown.co.uk.

O.o I didn't even think there was a thread for this show in the regular section. I started one up in the UK TV Shows section, though.

The show's been airing early in some parts of the world, though. Checked the torrent sites and they are supposedly at episode 6 of the new season. It's just amazing how some new seasons air in smaller markets and yet get uploaded.

I got S1 and S2 around the holidays. Since the BBC stuff rarely hits lower than $15/season, I caved and bought them. I think it's a good thing they top this out at 3 seasons, if that is the case.

4 episodes in on season 3 on Hulu.

Season is much darker and so far I think it may be the best.

I admit that I torrented what episodes were up already. Up to episode 6. Things definitely took an interesting twist here and there...if this is the final season, it's surely shaping up to be a memorable one.
