I feel the same way. I never expected it to be as much fun as it has become, I'm firmly a fan. Hopefully they can sustain it.

I was a fan of the film but when this was announced I was totally against it. I had no idea what they were going for but the comedic aspect has really saved this from being a typical boring CBS procedural. The montages are fantastic and Brian's vivid imagination is going to keep this show fun to watch for some time.

Same here, absolutely love this show. The "Abyss" homage had me laughing so hard I think I ruptured something. Limitless? Priceless.

Wow .. no posts since November?

The two part season finale was very good imo, and the show still goofy as all can be but also with very strong and emotional moments (the discussion with his father in particular).

You can tell the writers still had no idea if the show would get renewed and chose to do a wrap, pretty satisfying if a bit optimistic.

Limitless has a limit, after all.

After failing to get a Season 2 renewal from CBS, the series has run out of options.

“I’m truly sad to report that Limitless will not continue on any platform,” executive producer Craig Sweeney tweeted Wednesday afternoon. “Thanks so much to everyone who watched.”

Per The Hollywood Reporter, both Amazon and Netflix passed on picking up the CBS drama.

The series’ season finale — which now will serve as its series finale — aired April 26."

No effing way!!!! For some reason, I thought it had been picked up for a 2nd season already. Didn't they mention something about season 2 at the end of the finale?

Really pisses me off since it was my favorite new show from last season and I felt it was just hitting its stride the last 4 or 5 episodes. CBS really needs to get rid of all these stupid NCIS and CSI franchises that take up so much of their airtime.

I wasnt expecting anything from this, but 15 episodes in in the UK and i love it - what a refreshing, funny show!

American networks in the main suck!

Ya I'm done trying to understand how and why of all of it. There is just too much info we don't have. I don't see many shows getting much more than that consistently at 10pm but what do I know.

And with 8 million viewers per episode I don't understand why Amazon or Netflix didn't pick up the show.

I think the show lasting only this season was enough. I enjoyed the ride and the ending was good for a series ending.

Doubtful, so many shows that have been renewed don't get blu releases I don't think it likely that a single season show will get it.

I just started watching this on Netflix. I'm usually not a huge fan of procedurals, but they've injected enough style into it to keep it interesting. And the comedy works surprisingly well.

I know it has been canceled, but I decided to give it a go since from what I've read, it ends with a reasonable sense of closure.

I thought it strayed a little towards the end, but overall an enjoyable watch and a shame it was cancelled
