I give up trying to fix goldeneye. 5 Months of back and forth culminating in today having a Flixster rep get all add happy with my uv account, (apparently I own Goldeneye 7 times over now ) and it still wont port to Vudu, I had both reps on flixster chat and vudu phone, and nada, I think honestly it would be easier at this point to just go and buy another copy of Goldeneye Screw it im done, congrats to those of you who figured out the magic words to get them to fix it.

When I contacted Flixster I specifically asked them to re-add the different version. I told them the ALID I had wasn't transferring. they did it for me and it came in no problem.

GoldenEye (the wrong one)

Interesting. MyUV shows just the one with the title GoldenEye with 6 copies. So even though the lady said she added the ALID that was different to the one already in my account seems like it wasn't.

the descriptions are different as well.

Wrong One: (GoldenEye)

Success. I just got off with Flixster chat (again) and this time I told them about two Goldeneye ALIDs having the title spelled differently ('GoldenEye' and 'Goldeneye'). I also told CS about the correct ALID porting 'Goldeneye' movie synopsis and were able to add the different version. At first it didn't take, but he was finally able to add the correct version.

So, I guess for those still having issues with Goldeneye porting should tell CS about the differently spelled title and synopsis given. Also, that there should have two Goldeneye slots/titles in done correctly.

Now that everyone seems to get Goldeneye fixed, I guess it's about time for me to contact Flixster and ask them to fix mine too.

Would your CS rep tell you what the ALID was? Maybe Viva can ask if it gets added properly...

I didn't ask him about that. It wasn't on my mind. At first when he said he had added the different ALID with the info I gave him, since he said that he could see the title and movie synopsis, it was still showing up under one GoldenEye slot/title in my UV account. He tried telling me that it shouldn't have two slots/titles showing, but after I told him others that have reported getting this issue fixed that they were seeing two different slots of Goldeneye in their UV account. Then a min later I noticed the second Goldeneye listing on my UV account and it ported to Vudu. He might not have looked closely enough to the different synopsis I told him as they can seem similar on a quick glance.

There are actually 3 different GoldenEye ALID that Flixster can add, only 1 ports to vudu.

There's a new section on vudu for dvd's & blu-rays - you get the streaming copy instantly and the physical media ships to your door. I know kung fu panda 3 has had that option for a few weeks, but there is a whole section of them now, including catalog titles like the Indiana Jones movies which are LESS to buy on disc with the streaming copy than to buy it on just straight digital!
