As for William Eubank: I haven't seen The Signal yet (it's on my to-do list), but I really liked what he achieved with a shoestring budget for Love (2011), so I'll be very interested to see what he does with a modern take on the Count. Could be really good...

The 2000 one is a great re-telling of the story. Yes, it is not true to the book at all, but it is a great re-telling with the core content.
Sure, the Blu-Ray isn't the best, but I own it and I am happy with it.
