  • Is the 1500 really that bad? I've read alot of negatives but it seems they were based on past players.

I need help from owners of these players. I've done research on both but I still can't decide which to get? Obviously the 1500 is a really good deal now, but the 2500 sounds like it would be the better choice? help me decide.
thanks!
I work at an electronic retailer. I know both models very well. The only difference is really the HQV chip, which you don't care about and the 7.1 analogue output which you probably don't need since I guess you have a HD capable receiver. Concerning the BD Picture there is really no difference at all. The two points I mentioned are the only differences. I had both models in my showroom for quite a while and I can tell you that the 1500 is a great piece of machinery. Go for the 1500. The 2500 is only of interest to people who either want to play back DVD's in better quality or don't have a new receiver and need the 7.1 analogue output.
