Unfortunately, no. This release is for Russia.

It's been a long time since anyone posted on this; I hope someone will respond. I'm curious if this Blu-ray release also includes the original black-and-white version? I've been having a hard time finding one in decent shape!

I'm actually not interested in the colorized version, but I would buy this for a good b&w version.

Alternately, does anyone have a b&w edition of this film (DVD would be just fine) that they can recommend?

Blu-ray disc contains only a colorized version of the film.
Restored B&W version has been released on DVD as a bonus material.

This is not a original B&W version, this is decororized issue of colorized version. Who made this "bonus" was big idiots. Applied during colorize process colour masks after turning off color made picture of this movie a pasteurized with wrong shadows of gray and without any fine details.

Thanks much for both replies. Nils, no I definitely don't want a version like you describe! And strom, even if it were the right version, it turns out that the vendor you linked to doesn't deliver outside of Russia.

I already have a b&W version of this film, but it is a mediocre edition on DVD-R. I've been trying to find a decent edition, with no luck. You would think a film as well known as this would have been picked up by Ruscico. I saw that Krupny Plan had a different edition that looked like it might be decent, but evidently it's out of print.

I'll just have to keep looking!
