Wrong discs in "Incredible Hulk" Blu-ray - Page 3 - Blu-ray Forum

Just popped it in my player, it is the 2003 Hulk feature and it wasn't mislabelled. Hopefully this is an isolated problem

thanks for the heads up dvd mazter, been keeping my eye on your post. Looks like I'll have to make sure to open up my BD right away as soon as I step out of the B&M to make sure I'm not taking Hulk (2003)

good lord...now theres gonna be a sh*tload of Ang Lee Hulks on Ebay...I think maybe someone will lose their job over this...

Well, currently it seems as if only Canadians have this issue but who knows considering I.H actually doesn't street till Tuesday.

I'm glad it has been confirmed. It's just too bad that someone decided to jump the gun and refer to video store employees as stupid.

i manage a video store and all of our hulk copies came in today.
100 dvds and 5 blu-rays.

all perfectly fine.

but my pre-order sell-through sale prob wont be in til tomorrow.

I don't know if it is confirmed everywhere but I have 3 problem ones at my store and possible addition ones from our other store.

OT a little. I see the plastic case is green, not just the slip cover. I dig it. Bring on more colors to match the theme/art work.

but this is strange, i guess that universal and paramount are having some growing pains in becoming blu studios

alot of them share the same pressing facilities though. It all contract work so it could be a problem isolated to one manufacturer. No way to know for sure

even though I don't care for digital copies; it's pretty crappy if it comes in a white envelope (from what I see in the pic), rather than a 2 disc case.

I know when i worked at a book manufacturer years ago,Quality control was at the line monitoring the customer samples to make sure they got the best available, so that may be why

As far as I know, it has only happened in Canada but considering it is Universal, I believe they are pressed in the same plant for both U.S and Canada

That is a manufacturer issue. The disc distribution center messed up on the production run and put the older "Hulk" discs into the "Incredible Hulk" Blu-ray cases. It's not a video store issue. The stores are dealing with this fiasco on the back end as they receive shipment.
