Sorry, but Slaughterhouse Five is the best adaptation of a Vonnegut novel put to screen. Even Vonnegut thought so. That one needs a blu ray release badly. It's one of my most wanted.

If Pan's is announced, then I would take it with 3 Whit Stillman films and Jellyfish Eyes part deux and consider it my favorite month ever. Everything else is just gravy.

Based on how they did The Devil's Backbone I agree on Pan's Labyrinth not being until Oct. Maybe it can be spine 666.5

Devil's Backbone was released in July. They could for sure hold off Pan till October, but it isn't like it's a horror film or anything. GDT said they were going to have big announcements soon for the film, so that's what's leading many to believe it will be announced by CC soon too. For October, they already have Cat People likely lined up for then.

I enjoy "Slaughterhouse Five" to be sure, but prefer "Mother Night". But to each his own. What about "Slapstick of Another Kind" or "Breakfast of Champions"?

"Soon" for GDT is usually years though.
