Will I get this? Absolutely but my excitement has been tempered the more I've seen. It very much looks like a game that's been Frankensteined together across generations.

As much as I want this game right away, $90 after tax Canadian is way too much for this game. I got Uncharted 4 right away and will also be getting No Man's Sky lol, so for this I'm waiting on a sale!

There's no way this game will ever make it's money back. 10 years in development (has really been IN development for 10 years was it shelved for a long time?)

Serious question. Is everyone wanting this game because of the previous games (ICO and Shadow of Colossus)? Maybe it's the art style that I'm not getting.

Yes, those games delivered on emotional punches while having very simplistic gameplay, and minimal/unique story telling. It's a shame this game is taking so long, but hopefully it's the same emotional game everyone expects from Team ICO. They're also known for their unique art style, and for me graphics/visuals don't always guarantee a game's quality (the first Infamous game doesn't look very nice but it's one of my favourites). It's all about the journey with these games. People loved The Last of Us for the journey, I didn't really, I enjoyed the gameplay. But ICO I enjoyed for the journey and not the gameplay.

The statue is very cool....the game though is not my thing. It just doesn't look entertaining to me at all. I've never been into Japanese games much though. Main franchises from Japanese developers I like is Gran Turismo and Metal Gear.

along with maybe resident evil, these are the most unjapanese japanese games

It would be great if it's a resin statue but I'll still be happy with it if it's plastic.

Personally I don't care what the statue is made of as long as it looks good on my shelf. The problem with the Uncharted 4 statue is it looked like s***. These collector edition statues can be very hit or miss.

The next one j actually really want to buy is the Hitman one. Not sure what it is made of but it looks damn good.

Ehh. Can't justify double the price for what's being provided. It would be a different story at $89.99, but $119.99 is too high. Regular edition it is.

- Steelbook is a bit too plain, I'd probably like the regular cover art better
- Soundtrack/Art Book are (likely) incomplete versions
- Statue would be (guessing) on par with Majora's Mask statue (read: cheap)
- Sticker Sheet (really?)
- And I don't need a crate

The FFXV Deluxe is more reasonably priced at $89.99, IMO. Steelbook, Kingsglaive (which I would have bought anyway) and a couple of DLC trinkets.
