On a serious note, I know the Koreans are building a mega OLED factory. I am sure prices will take a dip once that opens in how many ever years.

I don't think Oled technology has much to do with that. Things like hdr and wcg will have more of an impact on that

I think the goal for Rec 2020 was within the next 4 years. Most wide color TVs released this year are around 60-68% of that. Successor models from last year had modest increases, generally around 5%, so there will need to be some breakthroughs in the next few years.

Everything eventually comes down in price over time, however the price range you are wanting I'm going to say will be very unlikely. Right now the technology with the full array/back lit 4K UHD TVs have really taken off with High Dynamic Range,Local Dimming,Ultra Luminance,True Black Panels,IPS Panels etc., etc. and some of these 4K UHD TVs provide very convincing Black Levels and natural color. The great thing about these 4K UHD TVs is that the price range is very affordable on most although some of them can cost almost as much as OLEDs. Only until a manufacturer can provide a Black Level that compares with Plasmas and OLEDs on these 4K full array/back lit TVs do I see a price drop on OLEDs and even then I'm going to say that the price drop will be minimal. One more thing about OLEDs is that the technology is only making them better than ever so we have to be very reasonable about where this is all heading and time will only tell us that. Just my opinion.
