I just messaged Arrow Video on Facebook, no idea whether they will actually respond to the message.

I love De Palma, but Carrie never did anything for me. And that's weird because I adored the book.

That's awesome! I think SF should focus as much as possible on Stephen King adaptions.. this is a good first step.

Here's to a hopeful Pet Semetary 1&2 release!
Love the new artwork for Carrie.

There's also the Deluxe edition with 2 x posters, 2 x slipcovers deal (2,000 available). Will ship 3 weeks earlier than October 11 release date.

The consumer will buy what he/she craves and/or has the money for. There's a portion of the market that will buy anything out of loyalty but that portion is tiny. Truth of the matter is, these films have very small audiences, plus a good deal of fans don't even have a clue this stuff is even available. Not everybody does facebook or has an account on internet message forums. Personally, I live for obscure films on BD but even I won't buy everything.
I can only speak personally, and this isn't meant to come across as complaining. But for me, the biggest factor in my purchases of scream factory releases (of which I would like all pre-90's films) is the price. Their prices have risen so I have to purchase less.

Their most recent summer of fear sale had double features at $13/$14/$15. If they were that from the beginning, I would be buying those obscure titles immediately.

Again, not complaining, but that's one reason why I can't buy as many scream releases as I wish.

Technically, the first step was The Dark Half. This would be the third after the Carrie double.

I agree, they have upped it though from 1k for Return of the Living Dead, to 1500 for The Thing, and now 2k for this one.

Hate seeing Joel Robinson's art being relegated to the limited editions. He's probably my favorite artist that does work for Scream and I've preferred his on both Return of the Living Dead and Carrie. Not a fan of the style that Scream has been going with for the non-limited editions of The Thing and Carrie.

I'm broke but I had a coupon that was going to expire tomorrow so I ordered the limited Carrie and The Crush.

Ditto. I love De Palma but I could never get into this movie or The Fury, which may as well have been a sequel to this. It sucks because I wanted really bad to like them.

Do you always get one poster and one slip if you order directly from Scream factory? I have some of their titles , but I've never ordered directly from them.

Really hope Arrow does House 1/2. House 2 being a favorite of mine from childhood, my interest in Crystal Skulls came from this film!
