One thing I'm intrigued about, and is slightly bugging me, is whether or not this was shot at 25fps or 24fps. The UK blu and UK digital versions run to ~5h44 (the blu is 1080i/50), but the digital releases in the US and Canada run to ~6h. I've compared the first episode from each and there's definitely speedup a la PAL/NTSC. The US version looks sharper, but that could just be the encode. Which is correct? IMDb has let me down by not saying!
I was wondering the same thing. I know "Wallander" is shot for PAL and the BDs I get from the UK are 1080i/50 to preserve the PAL signal. I was afraid that would be the case here too, and that it would be slowed down for the American release. Only one Series of "Wallander", S2, has been converted for American BD release, and I've always suspected it was slowed down too, but have never been able to compare it to my UK disc.
