Didn't think it was that funny. McBride's character is kind of jerk and know it all.

There were a few parts that I chuckled.

Goggins character was amusing. He reminded me a gay version of Boyd Crowder. He loves to do that over the top southern accent.

You guys must not be too familiar with McBride's work. He's playing the same exact character from every movie and TV show he's been in.

The Foot Fist Way, The Heartbreak Kid, Eastbound & Down, This Is the End, etc.

And yeah, if you don't like that style of comedy, then it obviously won't work for you. I think McBride is a comedic genius. I think he chooses his roles greatly (if they aren't written specifically for him). I laughed more times in the first two episodes of Vice Principals than any other show in the past 2-3 years.

I am familiar with McBride's work. I watched 2 of the 4 seasons of Eastbound and Down. He's essentially playing Kenny Powers 2.0. Not saying that's a bad thing, but it is what it is.

and only 1 episode of Vice Principals has aired. When you said 2 episodes, I thought the 2nd may have been posted early, but HBO Go doesn't even have it.

Nope. I got to attend a pre-screening of the first 2 episodes last week at a local movie theater. Maybe I had such a positive experience because I was watching it on a big screen filled in a theater full of other people. The whole place was laughing out loud a majority of the run-time.

There's a pretty lengthy scene in the second episode that I was dying during. It went from 0-100 real fast. I don't wanna spoil too much, but it's really
[Show spoiler]🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
