Cash grab by Sony whose Ghostbusters was a flop at the box office, as was this movie. Also, there are many product placements in Sony movies.

it was hardly a flop, it's made $69,039,222 million at the worldwide box office on it's opening weekend and is on track to make it's budget back, it only cost $100 and something million, and it's had a shitton of bad press, all of which is unwarranted. and critically it's been a success.

as for ASM 1 and 2, they made well over a $1 billion worldwide, again hardly a flop. just the second one wasn't a critical success.
