Unfortunately my Panasonic TC-P55ST30 was taken out by lightning last week. After the insurance settlement is done I'll be in the market for a new TV. LG OLED is 100% out of the running due to price which just leaves me with LED LCD. Samsung is also out of the running. Everyone I've ever known who had a Samsung TV, including myself, has had to replace them due to premature failure. I have no idea what I'll end up with at this point, but it will likely be something below the $2000 price point. I would have been very happy to use my plasma for a few more years.
