Joey Bosa continues to hold out, the Chargers are just terrible at negotiating with 1st round picks. Glad the drama with Elliott seems to be over, all we have to worry about now is that hip bruise.

Not a Bills fan but I was excited to pay attention to them this year. Seemed like they had a team all around that could do some damage on both sides of the ball.

It's such a pointless holdout by both sides. Bosa's entire contract is going to be guaranteed, it's just that the Chargers want to defer some of Bosa's signing bonus payment until next March and want there to be offsets. Bosa doesn't want the money deferred and doesn't want offsets. Offsets will only come into play if Bosa is a huge bust and gets released before his rookie contract is up, and if that happens Bosa would only be able to get at best a minimum salary contract, so the money they're fighting over is minimal. At this point it's all about precedents. The Chargers don't want to set a precedent where they'll agree to contracts without offsets, and Bosa's agent doesn't want to give in and agree to a contract with offsets when Jalen Ramsey, who was picked two spots behind Bosa, got a contract without offsets.

That's why he needs the full amount paid by the Chargers plus whatever minimum contract he can get out of the next team.

The way it stands with the clause the Chargers would be off the hook for the amount of the next contract he signs. If he signed for 700k then the Chargers would be able to pay him 700k less of whatever they still owed.

I can't bring myself to go that far, but will complain if a game gets blacked out when it shouldn't be. They will usually give me $100 credit, spread to $10 off over 10 months. That combined with signing a few people up, each year, adds up to a nice discount for me.

If someone has a spare hour or so (max) one morning, they really should consider calling to complain. Prior to the merger, I did it every year and always got it for free under the banner of "customer retention" as I've been a customer for a long time.

I will say Directv has to be one of the best, if not the best, when it comes to customer service. At least in my experience, they really go out of their way to not only ease my concern, but offer up some nice discounts.
For me the Ticket is still one of the best deals around. Me being a Philly fan and the wife being a Pittsburgh fan, even subtracting all the Phi/Pit games that would air in our area anyway, having young kids(5 & 2), so very little chance to get out to game AND I'm in several fantasy leagues so I'm camped on the mix channel, pretty much, all day Sunday.

Same here, man. I moved from NY to GA in '96 and have had DTV/ST ever since to watch my garbage team every season.

Again same here, camped out from 1PM to 11PM every Sunday without fail.
