They're just SD, but they look very nice. Obviously we'd love to see them mastered in HD, but compared to Superman: The Animated Series (which isn't terrible), the Batman: The Animated Series has always looked very nice upscaled.

The only issue with the bonus episodes is that some of the Justice League episodes are non-anamorphic widescreen.

But if you collect the DC animated movies on Blu-ray you'll amass quite a collection of animated series episodes from Superman, Batman and the Justice League (there are even episodes from Young Justice and Batman the Brave and the Bold) series.
