You guys are not alone (LiquidPrince & QwikSand) I loved all 3 films. Actually I should say that Spider-Man has been my all time favorite comic book hero since the days of the tv series with Mark Hammond along with the not so good shorts on the Electric Company and lets no forget the saturday morning cartoon Spider-man and his Amazing Friends. Getting back to the movies, I bought the 3 disc Blu-ray set of Spider-man before I even bought my Blu-ray player. They (Spider-Man 1-3) were the only reason I went blu. I cant wait for the 4th and 5th installments to be release which I found out that both Raimi and Maguire have signed on to film both movies simultaneously.

This set is a strange one. It bobs along at around $40 bucks or so via Amazon sellers but periodically bottoms out completely. I picked up the Target set for around $21 earlier in the year, which made the inclusion of the third movie academic for me

I gave up on Spiderman 3 when they changed uncle Ben's death senario. It was a burglar not Flint Marko (Sandman). That was Peters motivation all these years. He felt bad having not stopped the burglar he saw earlier. As a result, Peter consided himself morally responsible for Ben's death and has resolved to fight crime as a superhero. He vowed never to let another innocent person come to harm if he could help it.
And then the kicker (in Spidey 3) is Peter forgives Flint for killing uncle Ben? Come on now!
And don't get me started on too many villans.

They didn't change his death. In the end it turned out to be the burgles fault after all...

Yes the movie changed it. The Flint Marko character was not even created at the time of Ben's death. Might wanna do some reaserch next time. Or read the actual comicbook.

Buddy, I've seen the movie countless times. The Flint Marko wasn't there, THAT WE KNEW OF... He was there apparently but he ran away. It made perfect sense because by the time Peter went and saw his uncle shot in front of the library, Marko would have run away...

Huh? One of the last scenes in the movie is Marko apologizing for Uncle Ben's death, saying that it was an accident. But he DID kill Uncle Ben.

I know, but the burgler pushed him which caused him to push the trigger.

The movie changed it (arguably with no reason) from the comics . . . this is easy.

I was never arguing that he comics weren't changed... I never even mentioned the comics as I really don't care. The topic is the movies and I thought that the change was justified.
