This is a very rare occurrence. Thankfully we were able to get the box set separately for the beautiful LOTR EE Dvd set, but I don't normally see it done. I know why most studios don't do it, but I wish they would. They're already so keen are reissuing old discs, they will have more than enough to go around this way [emoji13]. What box sets would you buy after the fact?

The boxset box including packaging but no discs? I'd love to buy the current black one for the James Bond OO7 set, maybe the one for The X-Files Seasons 1-9, and perhaps a few others.
Especially companies who decide to release individual titles in a collection and not a boxset. But I own the Alfred Hitchcock: Masterpiece Collection and prefer to list the titles contained individually since I'm using Nissen's nice cover-artworks. It's more of an as-needed basis. |
